WILC MISSION STATEMENT
WILC is a private, nonprofit college serving adults with autism who desire continued learning. We assist them in reaching their goals for independence. We believe that people with Autism Spectrum Disorders are intelligent and valuable members of society.
It is our mission to provide each student with the necessary supports so that they may not only have a successful college experience but also become inspired to achieve their purpose in life.

ABOUT US
Striving for independence is what it is all about for students. We understand that specially trained staff with the heart and vision of our mission is essential to the success of our program. We provide an environment that inspires creativity, encourages individuality, and supports our students. It is our goal to make sure each student feels safe to express their thoughts and feelings.
We understand that each person is unique and will require individualized programming to achieve their highest level of independent living and well being.

DVR Vendor – As a vendor, we are a proud to provide programming that includes career exploration programs, job shadows, Temporary Work Experiences (TWE), and permanent hire supports.
IRIS – This program is the long term waiver for adults with disabilities. IRIS supports our program to fund attendance.
Prevocational & Vocational Training – Our prevocational training sets up our students for success in the working field. Our DVR team consolidates those skills learned to make sure the student benefits from their work experiences.
Community Involvement – We strive to get our students navigating and utilizing community resources as naturally and independent as possible.
